Test out your hiking legs and get a taste of small-group walking on the spectacular trails of coastal Victoria.

Last week we released our new Get Hiking Ready brochure to help you get the right gear and the right fitness levels for hiking.

In conjunction with Get Hiking Ready, we’re pleased to be launching a series of day walks that will go one step further – they will get you out on the trail, testing your hiking fitness and giving you a taste of the small-group hiking experience. It’s a program designed for fun and for a social experience – along with a bit of walking training.

The day walks are set in Victoria’s south-eastern coastal region – a beautiful area of rugged cliffs, white sand beaches and rolling hills.

The walks will be hosted by Park Trek’s resident personal training guru, Moira. She’s the fitness expert responsible for the training sections of our Get Hiking Ready brochure. Our first day walk, along the George Bass Coastal Trail, also offers the chance to have a chat with Anthi from 50 days. She’s a pack-fitting expert who will be coming along for the walk and offering advice on gear. This first walk is coming up in just six weeks, so it’s the perfect chance to ramp up your hiking regime, ready for spring.

Our new day walk program offers the chance to meet some like-minded hikers, test out your fitness, experience some glorious coastalines and have a great fun day out.

The first walk is in October, followed by walks in December and February. The walks are $35 per person, or you can join us for all three walks at the special price of just $95.
