One of Park Trek’s favourite walking destinations was drastically impacted by the 2019/20 bushfires, followed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Park Trek Director Ingrid Huitema says that the company is committed to supporting the beautiful Kangaroo Island community and cannot wait to visit the region in 2021. “You can join us too!,” she says.
“Help us support local tourism on Kangaroo Island. “Stay at locally owned accommodation and enjoy an up-close tour with local rangers at Seal Bay, tour the Beehive, visit a local winery and explore the island’s walking trails.”
On Kangaroo Island, you will find an amazing array of wildlife on the island including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, goannas, sea lions, fur seals and a myriad of birdlife. The passionate Park Trek guides will help share their knowledge of the Island with you.
Enjoy sculpted rock landscapes and dramatic coastlines on Park Trek’s five-day walking holiday through Kangaroo Island and help this magnificent Island community rebuild after the devastating 2020 bushfires.
