A Beautiful and Highly Enjoyable Tarkine Walk

“You are making a difference through these trips and getting the word out about this special place [The Tarkine]”, Jenny – November 2024

???? The Walks – “Walking was as expected with a good mix of easier and harder (not too hard) days”.

????The Guides – “They were both very mature and considerate guides who worked very well together and dealt with everyone in the group in a friendly way. They had to adapt most of the walk because of the weather but everything worked very well because of their planning and enthusiasm”.

????The Accommodation – “The accommodation was fine and had what we needed for the trip, especially somewhere to be out of the weather”.

????️The Food & Snacks – “Meals and snacks were all fine, particularly enjoyed the wallaby tacos!”.

???????? Overall Experience – “10 out of 10. The day of torrential rain and cold weather was the low point but there’s nothing Park Trek can do about that – it is SW TAS! The guides dealt with everything with good cheer and workarounds. Hopefully one day the logging will be gone and the Tarkine will be safe – you are making a difference through these trips and getting the word out about this special place”.
