Enjoy An All-inclusive Short Break Walking the Stunning Light-to-Light
“A beautiful part of the world I’d not seen before. Passing whales made it even more special, as did likeminded travellers and a small group size. Our guides were very organized, knowledgeable, friendly, and worked well as a team. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent.” –Carole, July 2023
Step into one of Australia’s most spectacular coastal landscapes on our all‑inclusive, small‑group Light to Light Walk. Designed for a maximum of 10 guests, this 4‑day journey along the Sapphire Coast invites you to slow down, immerse yourself in nature, and connect with fellow walkers who share your love of the outdoors.
Tracing the 40km trail between Boyd’s Tower and Green Cape Lightstation in Beowa National Park, each day reveals something remarkable – secluded coves, red‑rock ledges, tea‑tree forests, and sweeping whale‑rich waters. Our expert guides bring the region to life with stories of Yuin culture, local ecology, and maritime history, including a visit to the Eden Whale Museum.
With only a daypack to carry, you’re free to savour every moment. Evenings offer warm hospitality, character‑filled accommodation, and wholesome meals that reflect the quality and care at the heart of our walks. Thoughtfully curated for all abilities, this is more than a walk – it’s a chance to disconnect from the everyday and rediscover the simple joy of moving through nature.

Next up is the Lake Curalo boardwalk that takes us through swamp melaleuca forest and salt marsh, then over the shallow waters where you can spot a variety of birds, fish and flora.

Throughout the day there’ll be plenty of opportunity to stop, rest, relax and take in the beautiful scenery. You can even take the chance to enjoy a spot of birdwatching, and from late May to early December whales frequent the area, making it a great time for whale watching from the trail. You may even be lucky enough to see an orca in the wild!
We then return to our accommodation, ready for some more good company and great food.

This stretch of coastline is home to a wide variety of wildlife, from rare striated field wrens and endangered ground parrots, to goannas, echidnas and kangaroos. With opportunities for more bird and whale watching, make sure to keep your eyes open so you don’t miss a thing on this fabulous trail.

Then we head north to Merimbula, where our last walk follows the headland through a range of landscapes, from windswept heath to woodlands, all while taking in the dramatic rock formations and cliff lines.
