Park Trek has put together a full range of hiking trips which we offer to women only. These trips offer a friendly, welcoming and non-competitive space to take on a personal challenge, explore a beautiful environment and have a few laughs with some new like-minded friends.
The itineraries are exactly the same as our regular walking tours, we simply offer them as ‘women-only’ to provide an opportunity for women to accept the challenge of their next hiking adventure with other women.

Highlight tour: Kangaroo Island
Exploring this spectacular island off the coast of South Australia we’ll walk along exposed and rugged coastlines, have an interpretive visit with the local rangers at Seal Bay, visit the spectacular Kelly Hill Caves and hike sections of the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail. Wind-swept beaches, inland lagoons, pink gum woodlands and remarkable rock formations – the scenery is some of this country’s best. Plus you’ll be in the company of other women who enjoy a rollicking outdoor adventure.

Highlight tour: Tarkine Wilderness
Tasmania’s remote north-west is home to one of the largest cool temperate rainforests in the world. Exploring the Tarkine from our base in comfortable eco-cottages, we’ll walk to beautiful Montezuma Falls, hike to the summit of Mt Donaldson, take a boat trip down the Pieman River and take in the spectacular views from the summit of Mt Farrell. This remarkable wilderness is the perfect place to explore with a group of like-minded walking women.
